Shez was a warm-hearted person who loved the community here and put a lot of effort into being an active member.
Her enthusiasm and encouraging words have brought joy to many of us.
I'm sure that she was able to draw strength from those who supported her and shared her sorrow through the final days of her story.

So, farewell, Shez.

Not lost but gone before.

I look at this work and feel Sherryl's (Shez) freedom. It made me think f how much she wanted to be able to just get outside again. I then read Ryan's comment and thought "yes, she would have wanted a stool" But, maybe she doesn't need one now. Thank you! Kismet

Beautiful photo, must say all that she would have asked for is a stool for her to get on the chair :)

What a fantastic photo and so fitting to the challenge. Great work and this image certainly says what words cant voice on Shez

And the sweet silver song of the lark...

Love the dramatic sky and the whisps of rain, great composition and I can just imagine Shez sitting there watching this seen. Really nicely done :) Thank you for taking the time to pay tribute to my dear friend x

I like this idea; Shez has left her seat empty but she's gone somewhere colourful and lovely, the seat will never be filled. Great job.

Is this an mnet image? Regardless of who the author is, this is one of the most beautiful photo's I've seen on DPC in a long time. This just speaks to me in such a deep way. I love the conflict between the storm out at sea and the smooth, calmness of the water by the chair. I would give many a dollar to have been sitting in that chair watching the storm -- one of my favourite activities. I digress, you have a masterpiece here...and one of the very, very few I have ever given a 10 (and a favourite) for.
