 Photographer’s Notes
This set up required a drill, a few birthday candles, a few sugar cubes. All but the drill did not survive the attempt.

So, drill a hole in a sugar cube … much harder than you might imagine. Insert a birthday candle so the wick just sticks up above the sugar cube. Light it. It goes out. Light it again, and again. Shoot in the dark with a speed light to give the cube a little light. Doesn’t work. Repeat over and over and over again. Still doesn’t work. HDR? Why not? And Bob’s your uncle!
