19th Avenue is a 6-lane, divided surface street that cuts through my town. Lined on both sides by little houses like the ones above, it's a major north/south route. I've often wondered what it's like to live in one of these homes.

Here, I'm stopped at a traffic light, shooting through the windshield with my 70-300 lens.

They are very attractive lined up like that. Doesn't the blue one just make the picture sing? They look very narrow fronted so I suppose they stretch back a fair way. Maybe they all sleep as far away as they can get from the highway?

I've often wondered the same thing. I get woken up by the smallest noises in our neighborhood. I guess eventually all the traffic noise would just blend into the background. I don't think I could get used to it though. I think houses like this are fun to photograph though.
