Challenge: Photograph Becomes a Painting (Expert Editing)
Collection: Architecture
Camera: Canon EOS-6D
Location: Rehoboth Beach
Date: May 12, 2013
Date Uploaded: May 12, 2013

Used a Pen and Wash technique found in "Best Ever Photoshop Techniques" Magazine. It was a multistep process to make it look like pen and watercolor. I improvised to get the final effect that was most pleasing to me. This was my first attempt at this. I'm not sure my eye is very good at this. I will be interested to see how it is accepted by the DPC community.

This was one of my top few. I really like it, so thank you for including your pp method.

Maybe I'm totally wrong but I love the kind of Van Goghy look to it. 9

This is the only image thus far that uses this Topaz Labs filter (Simplify - Oil Painting I think) It turned out really well, barring the 3D of the chandelier overlaying onto the wall painting. Were it not for that I'd have given it a 9.

While watching this, I was waiting. Waiting to see Tintin enter the scene. This is really how Hergé would have drawn it.
