A sub 5 score for a pretty good image. This meets the challenge. It is a young, inexperienced, "green" moose. Seems like that meaning of the word "green" is not good enough for lots of the DPC voters. It's absolutely true this moose is not green in color. Some DPC voters are really narrow-minded and/or illiterate. This absolutely reinforces my decision to terminate my participation at this site with challenge #700. The DPC crowd has drifted away from reviewing quality photography in favor of "gotcha" tear down votes. Nothing here for me anymore.

The challenge description does not say anything about color. Previous "Green" challenges' winners have tended to be green in color, but that doesn't mean this challenge is limited to green color things. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. If this kind of narrow-mindedness bothers me and I don't want to comply with narrow-minded dictatorsvoters, I don't belong here.

Nice work Richard. Thanks for sharing. I would have never thought they would be so fat and have such short legs at that age... |

Lovely sharp shot and good composition. I would have scored this higher but feel it is rather shoe-horned into a challenge with the subject of 'Green'. |
