 Puppies....six weeks old....Cardigan Welsh Corgi's....tons of fun!!

Cardigans come in many different coat colors, and often have blue eyes. They have drop ears until the age of about 6 to 12 weeks. The puppy in front is starting to have one of her ears go up.


The key to taking puppy litter pictures is to take them right when they arrive to the studio, they are a bit scared of the surroundings and stay still. Of course, 5 minutes later I had puppies crawling all over me!!

Ahhh, so that's the secret to getting shots of motionless puppies!!! Will remember that for the future in case I ever need to do it. Thought you might have had to give 'em a little Valium or something ;-)

Your set up is fantastic. Then to have (6) puppies cooperate enough to stay in position and look at the camera is awesome. Must have been a few takes on this one. Truly professional work.

I want them all! What a beautiful shot! Despite the fact that those blue eyes are enchanting, the one with black eyes seems to be the most alert of the bunch. And I agree with the person who mentioned how cute the black and white tippy-toes sticking out of the bucket are! Wish I could see a photo of them crawling over you - just for fun! That must have been priceless!

Well who can give a photo like this a 5, or even a 6, NO what about a 7, don't believe I could, how about an 8, not sure, I think it's worth more than that, a 9, hmmmm maybe, but you know what I'm going to give it 10, for absolute 100% cute factor! All the best!

They don't realize how lucky they are for being born in a good life situation. Some pups don't have that luck. Great tones, sharpness, details and you've made their eyes really pop out :).

I can't help but look at these adorable puppies and want to pet them. They are so cute and those blue eyes are so lovely. Love the light and the poses of these pups in the baskets and boxes. But it is the puppy in the front basket with the raised ear that keeps drawing my attention to him. He looks like he just cocked his ear to listen to something that is stage right. Excellent pet portrait work on this one.
