Great pattern that works well in b&w. Border holds it all together nicely.

Straws or pipes for ever. very hypnotic and interesting effect. Bumping up.

I'm really really loving this idea! I like how the pipes lead your eyes downward. The black and white combined with the shadows, contrast, and unique lighting make a really cool photograph. Only thing I really don't like is at the top left hand corner where there is a black distracting empty space. Great job on this photo, I hope it does well in this challenge!

great shot!! i really like the fact that you took away the childlike quality that would of been there if you had left it in color

nope....but im guessing you are watching your score go up and down up and down...LOL that aside, nice pic, dont know if I care about the B&W, and the lightings a little dark at the bottom.

does make ya dizzy! Great concept, saw something similar in a forum thread last week but in color, the b/w has a whole different feel to it. nice job.

I love the b/w conversion on this. The tones are fabulous! I also really like the close crop. Excellent texture and depth. Dunno 'bout the rest of the voters (since I'm a little different than most) but I think you hit a home run with this one. You'll have to humor me and let me know if this is whose I think it is. I'm adding this one to my faves right now. :o)

No, not really. Complex? Straws are so basic.

Looks a bit overhsarpened, and the black and white works well.
