The brightest light toward the bottom right is just a plane, the Perseid is in the middle of the frame. The fuzzy bit below it is the Andromeda Galaxy, the farthest thing from us that we can see without the aid of any optical device. There is also a satellite, pretty faint, toward the upper right of the image. This was taken around 9:30PM long before Perseus rose above the horizon. I saw many more meteors early in the evening; the frequency decreased as the evening wore on. Of course, I gave up around 12:30 AM, just when you should start watching, but it was cold and I was tired after staying up all night the previous night...So far this is the only decent meteor shot out of I hate to tell you how many tens-of-gigs of images from 3 cameras...
