the subject is a friend of mine staring at this outstanding dawn, unaware I was taking him in my shot.


this is a tribute to my friend Alessandro that introduced me to this wonderful hobby! :)

wow! 4th place! :D

I'm very happy for this placement (first time in top 5) and for having done a good tribute to Alessandro ;)

I was shooting at dawn, when I've seen this friend of mine at the border of my viewfinder... then I rotated the camera and thought "let's try"

this was a really lucky shot: the light, the mist, my friend that stayed quite immobile for all the 5 seconds (during the shot I prayed "don't move, don't move, don't move..." :D )
