I never expected it to finish this well.

There were two images used here, and I didn't want to go overboard with the processing. I wasn't able to get the angle I wanted originally, as Dallas was getting anxious to leave (and it was about to rain). So we had to go quickly.

But when I saw his face in this image, I thought it was perfect... like he really was looking over the edge.

I think this is a good idea but I passed it by at first as I didn't "see" it.
Not sure how but it needs more work.

I don't like the composition, but the idea works very well. There's a famous graphic work of Erik Johansson that follows the same concept.
