 Heart Lake can be easily accessed through Adirondacks Loj Road.

After spending hours scouting for locations to shoot on 500px.com and google maps I narrowed it down to few spots.

I am not an "early" morning person, but the effort it took to wake up and reach this location in the wee hours paid off by spectacular views and light.

It was a hard month to choose!

Congrats on a very strong finish and a great image. beautiful scene and looks like a place I would love to see..especially in fall like it is now. That steam off the water is just magic

Very nice photo! I love the mist/haze/fog on the bank and behind the trees. I also like how you didn't just give the 'usual' mirror glass lake and reflection but mixed it up and did NOT crop out the little water 'weeds' in the foreground. One of my favorites.
