 This is Bailey. I have two cats, neither of which seemed overly thrilled about being chased around with a camera for days. Plus Bailey is my cat who operates only at hyper-speed and she gets nervous around people who are standing up - making photographing her even more of a challenge.

I felt lucky to capture this shot of her holding so still right in front of me. Such a brave girl.

I adopted this sweet girl from the humane society at 3 months old. She would rub against the cage to be petted and she was so pretty that she won me over. (My beloved dog had passed away a month earlier and so I adopted two cats to help heal my heart.) Bailey must have had a rough few months in the wild because she can still be skittish even after 7 years in the calmest and most loving home a cat could want. Unfortunately I do not know her breed, but I too appreciate her beauty. (And her fur is the softest fur I have ever felt.)

this is a very soulful portrait; and it's usually dogs who look soulful, not cats.

Love the composition, and the softness of the cat. I see and tend to do myself too much sharpen on soft things like kitty's.. You dooded it goooood girl!!!

It looks like Bailey is a dilute Tortie? Anyway she is so cute here. I think a little more contrast or maybe a different crop to show some surrounds. But either way she is a cutie and those eyes and orange streak down her nose is so cute! =^..^= <--- CAT

such a cool cat! wish the line on the nose is vertical and separates the frame symmetrically... :-)Don't know why Alice in Wonderland comes to mind...
