 I haven't been here for a while. This week isn't the week to start again, but I think I am taking the photography as a stress relief mechanism, so I did an entry anyway. I was actually after the freshly hatched goslings, but didn't get a nice image of them, so decided to take the empty nest instead. There were 7 goslings, no idea where the other shells are. This and the abandoned egg were the only remnant in the nest.

I gave this shot a 5. I like the coloration, dof and clarity. Unfortunately, the remains of the egg are "yucky" and keep me from wanting to stay with the image longer.
