This is well put together. I resist the icon in the middle of an otherwise stunningly ambiguous scene of sun worship... but it does give a bizarre sense of collage. Besides, you clearly know what you're doing. I trust you. 9

I'm bumping this to 10 and putting it in my art gallery. To continue the exposition, I hang things in my gallery if I feel they are independent works of art. For example, I could publish this in a literary magazine and it would fit right in.

Great use of the holy colour, and lovely light touch with the imagination. Not really a novel, or maybe it was for the people of Orphalese. 8

This is a great image. I particularly like the colors and the composition.

nice use of an overlay here, and i like that the prophet in the sun is indistinguishable, looks like it could be a person reading, or a pet looking out the window (lending to thoughts on reincarnation and the buddhist thoughts on life).
an 8 for a great image

Ever read a novel? They're a bit different than poetry collections. ;)

Image is good. Love the figure on the floor looking out the window.

Love the reason for the image much less, it seems like this could have been so much more if only attributed to a different book.

Comment Challenge: Nice abstract-ish image. Great use of light, overexposure, shadow, and darkness, combined with the Eastern religious figure (on the curtain?)

Another book with which I'm not familiar. However, extremely intrigued with the image. Beautiful, magical. -9-

I have not read this book. With that in mind, this has an appropriateness about it. The hint of worship and the warm rich yellows really work well. 8

Don't remember much of this but the image evokes a sense of wonderment in the search for knowledge and enlightenment in the teachings of a prophet. The shot is cleverly constructed to that purpose. 6

Not sure about this one - there are elements I like about it (especially the window/door, the light and the person sitting in front of it) and bits I feel uncertain about (the face). For me, had the face been more out of focus than the person and the window, it would have made more sense, but it's a personal thing. I think the colors work well. A 5 from me.

I think that there are here too many elements - some quite beautiful such as the crouched silhouette, but a little confusing. There is something that does not attract me here, as I was not attracted to read the book (yet).

Interesting and intriguing. nice balance of light and shadow. the eyes of the figure throw me out of the frame a bit. 7

Nice colors. Can't really tell what this all is supposed to be, however.
The light in the background looks a little too exposed.
But I do like the "prophet" on the far left of the picture.

I like this scene, it took me a little time to fully realize all the contents, the Buddha figure threw me off a bit, being the sharpest object, so it is a bit distracting. A little jumbled in composition but it shows a larger scale than on first look. I do like the out of focus elements. 7.

6...I would love this completely if that drawn face on the left was not there though I still kinda love it regardless. I just keep wanting to see past it and enjoy that warm divine light fully.

Very thought-provoking image! Just love the mystery of the person in the sun...wondering what they're reading and thinking.
