FIRST IMPRESSION : Waow, perfect composition, nice to have the 2 people in a perfect pose.

COMPOSITION : Very nice. The eye is drawn directly to the 2 people in a pose tha does not sound posed at all, very natural. They are not hidden by the .. 'plants' (sorry do not know the name), they are between them but without any interference.
I like the curve of the edge going down on the right side of the picture.

TECHNICAL : Perfect exposure , the two peole are not tatally balck but without too much details so that the pose and the shape of the bodies prevails. Nothing to say about depth of field.
A little distracting (not that much ) ?flare? at the feet of the man (or something else) but not very bad and not tha much you could do anyway.

DIGITAL : Signs of oversharpness ( edges of bodies and plants) or maybe compression artefact. They are

MY OPINION :
I like that photo, it gets a waow factor at the begining. The 2 people add a lot of impact to the picture and in a nice way.
Even at the end of the critic ... I still enjoy looking at it , imagining some story between the 2 people, their stories, did they walk hand in hand ? dud they meet there after a long time, did she just told him she is pregnant ? did he just asked to to marry him ?

Nice photo, a very fine job.

Lionel, for the critique club

Really nice photo. I like the addition of the people there. Maybe it would have worked better with them silhouetted rather than just seeing a little bit of detail. Still, a 9!

Great shot. I love the colours. Nice placement of the people. Hopefully, DPCers aren't voting you down because you included people. Great postcard image. Jacko. absolute 10.

The people make the picture!!! Creative way of centering them in between the plant.

Very very pretty. The waving grasses and parent/child on the left are a nice touch. Beautiful sunset.

Almost a perfect 10. I love the picture. The couple could be anyone, the sky puts off just enough color not to be to detracting. The grass frames the people and the light reflecting off the grass is what puts this photo into the very special catagory. I ill definitely add this to my favorites. Why not a 10? The small patch of green at the foot of the man. Was it sun glare. A shame you could not touch it up. Good Luck 9.95

That's a lovely photo - definitely a printable image. The colour is lovely, the water and clouds are a delight and the people provide a focus point. Thankfully the grass-like plants aren't in front of the people. I have nothing bad to say except that the gress is just a fraction distracting. I'm jealous.

Very nice! The couple and pampus grass on the left is a nice touch, nicely sillhouetted (well, almost sillhouetted!) Too bad about the sun flare just below them, but it's not horribly noticable. Nice yellows and grays. 7 Swash

This is an excellent picture. I missed the people initially as they blended in with the grass, this was because my eye was drawn to the background. However, once I became aware of them, their presence adds much to the scene, both in terms of the composition and also cementing the wonderfull idyllic mood. I would love to know if they appear there by chance or if you positioned them deliberately. On the strength of the rest of the picture I'll assume the latter and add and extra point.

The human element and the golden touch of the sun on the grass in the foreground, combined with the yellow and purplegrey of the clouds and the reflection in the water makes this a classic beauty. I don't know if they posed for this, but it is a good one. :)
I don't think that the white of the border was the right choice, but I don't look at frames anyway so that doesn't affect the score.

Everything a landscape should be! Wonderful! Did you hang out there a few minutes and see what colors the sky turned after it sunk a little lower? Looks like you are about an hour early of the 'official' sunset. Congratulations... Awesome shot!

This is simply phenomenal... The composition and exposure is perfect... the silhouetted people really make this image pop. THAT is what i consider a 'single' element of a landscape photo that gives the eye a great place to come to rest... excellent work - tied for best of show for me with one other image :) = 10 - setzler

Well, I can't tell if that's a dad and child or a couple so I can't comment about this being great for one of those romance cards :) A very, very beautiful photograph.

Beautiful shot. Great composition. But I find there to be a little too much sun and not enough land in your landscape.

Beautiful shot, especially like the warm colors with the purple-grays, plus the foreground for scale and interest, as well as composition and clarity. 10
