I'm going to assume you slightly cropped off your knuckle because there was a rubber band in your eye. I hate when that happens.

Extra points for the rubber band, but the big props go to the processing. As always, you're a true artist with your pixeled brushes! |

The brilliance of your pp'g, Bear, is that your images are both dark AND bright, at the same time. It's magic. Congrats on the blue! |

Robt, I am very fond of self-portraits, and think this one is staggeringly good! Superb lighting, and always, you've processed this like a champ. Just don't connect as a viewer with any real sense of fear for your phobia though. It's not that i don't have your fear (for obvious reasons), but it's not conveyed well. If I didn't know the challenge, I could easily look at this image and see a man deep in thought, not a man with a sever fear of something. Sorry for the diatribe, Bear....not intentional. Anyway, undoubtedly I'll see this on the front page, stellar shot. I'm jealous! 9. |

Interesting effect with the in focus/out of focus areas appearing to be PP as a circular vignette around your face Robert. Almost like Vaseline in days of old. Not drastic, subtle. The weathered look suits you you old sea dog :) |

Keep putting rubber bands in your eyes and we'll get an answer. ;)
Awesome photo btw, and I like your watch. |
