Great title that really adds something to the charm of this image. I really like this photo. I'd like for the focus on the eye and beak to be a little bit sharper, and I wish the crop weren't quite so close at the top of head. Other than that, though, the composition is good, and this shot has some real character!

I would have liked to see more of the swan. Very nice photo, love the title.

Wonderfull perspective. You seem to have caught the expression on the swan's face. Some parts of the swan seem overexposed while other parts in the image seem a bit dark. Looks like challenging lighting conditions. 8

Great title - very expressive. Your handling if the DoF very well planned and executed. Catchlight is the nearest swan's eye is a great touch. My only problem is that the close swan is very close to the top edge of the frame and merges with the bluw/yellow color boundary.

Too bad about the shadows on the mallards and geese. I might have tried for a tighter vertical crop on the swan.

I realize there's nothing you could do about ti -- but I wish the touch of green wasn't at the top

A lot of people may have dinged you on the overexposed neck, or underexposed ducks in the background, but to me this shot is more about the relationship between the two types of bird. You have captured a powerful image that proves that exposure isn't always what makes a good shot. -danny

GREAT composition, colour and DOF. Only thing that could have improved it would have been better light on the swan. 9 - floyd

Great title and I love the way the light goes right onto his eye!

:) The play of sunlight is real nice...and color of water. Pitty you had to take such tight crop.

Awesome composition. I like the shadows. The only thing hurting the image is the lose of detail on the swawns neck imo.

Very nice idea and composition. Great light on head, too much on chest. Oversharpened perhaps

Great title. Shame you were dealing with so much shadow. Wonderful composition.
