Good potential, but it just doesn't "pop". Maybe some levels work in an editing program would help

I really like this photograph. Like the color and composition. Maybe a tad deeper dof, but that is being picky. Softer focus works in this photo. I was relieved to see a shot like this in this challenge, not perfect, but has emotional appeal. Looks like this Lion could be in your backyard, not found in a zoo.

King at rest. Long for some sunlight on it to make it brighter but overall well done.

Nice subject. The background and composition seem kind of bland imo. Focus and DOF is nice though.

This is a wonderful picture, but I wonder how much better it would be with a little fine tuning on the contrast. Greener grass, brighter orange - though not TOO bright. Not to be fake looking. Just looks a little muted, and lifeless - and with a subject so stunning, that's not what you want.
