I was very fortunate this month to meet up with DPCers not once, but twice! The first time was when  vawendy came to town. I took her and her husband to that seedy venue known as Hollywood, or at least the part with the stars on the sidewalk. Then I met up with Wendy and other local DPCers ( tanguera, hihosilver, and  dtallakson) at the Santa Monica pier. Lots of fun! A few weeks later, the elusive bvy came to town. I met up with him and took him to Malibu and the ever popular Santa Monica. That's where this shot was taken - along the 3rd Street Promenade, I think. And if you look, bvy is in this picture. :-)
At the end of the week, he was treated to a rousing evening's conversation with the pseudo-locals (Johanna, Mae, Ben and me) at Manhattan Beach. There are pictures of that outing but I'm not sure they're releasable to the general public....
And the year is off to a good start, with a sub-50% FS! Add that to the 7% in Best of 2013, and well, I know you're all envious.... :-) |
