It's not like I'm going to win, so I thought I'd enter something I love. I had a lot of photos to choose from; over 4000 I took in Europe, but this one tells a story.

Last minute comments on the last day, I sat on under 3 comments most of the week, nice to get some love at the end.
Well the story really might not be as exciting as the image looks, or maybe the image is not very exciting to a lot of you folks anyway, but for those who wish to stick around reading this blog, I'll say on; So we were all really excited, (actually me a little apprehensive as I'm afraid of heights)to jump on the cable car which takes up to the heights of Monte Baldo in the most gorgeous Lake Garda. My husband had warned me beforehand that the chances of fog on the top of the mountain was considerably high, 'great I thought', I love fog, 'could be a chance to take some awesome photos'. Well he was right, fog everywhere. I don't think I've seen so much fog to tell the truth, I mean I live in Perth we might get fog twice a year. So like as in most cases when we are away, I'm right behind my husband taking snaps whilst he's checking out the view, but in this case there was NO VIEW, I mean nothing, nil, niente, not an inch, we looked high and low, and still nothing of that beautiful town of Malcesine down below. So instead of wasting the time there, I tried to take as many images as I could, and maybe just one could be a nice little photo, which people can interpret their own story too!
Thankfully the whole trip was not wasted, as we stopped on a lower level after these dizzying heights, this is me on the lower level taking a pic in the reflection of the sliding doors, you may of seen it, it's been on my profile page, and that's also my profile pic.
Oh and BTW the view was SENSATIONAL, when we finally got to see it.
Thanks for all the nice comments, would be nice to get into the TT for a best of, but somehow I think that's a stretch.

Well - Top 20 happy with that!
Thanks, to those who liked it!
Outtakes, but really I had a lot;

I'm glad to have viewed the image during voting, allowing me to make up my own story. I enjoy that.
But your version of the story has a nice ending and a wonderful foggy picture to go with it. Congrats!
Beautiful moody image, bathed in gold. The man seems to be walking into an epiphany. The rocks to the right have lots of personality. It's the tonation that brings so much extra to this picture. The only distraction is the car peeking out above the rocks. One of my top five.
