 I spent most of my week attending my partner's Grandmother's funeral/arrangements in New York. On the day of her burial it was snowing mercilessly and we had to watch the burial from a distance due to safety concerns.

Out of respect for her family, I only snapped a few pictures with my camera phone because I couldn't pass the opportunity to photograph such a breath-taking scene (it was my first time experiencing snow!) and capture such a beautiful moment of goodbye at the same time.

As far as editing goes, I adjusted some curves, levels and brightness settings and I did some dodging in parts of the snow. I cloned out a small brown section that appeared on the photograph for unknown reasons (dirty lens, maybe?) and then added a border.
