I was so stumped on this challenge. I'm sure there would probably be a bit of paper planes going about. I wanted to show a side of the picture as thought it had a life of it's own. This plane/glider needs wind to fly.

The fan with the string attached symbolizes mother nature holding the young plane's hand and teaching him how to fly.

It was held up by invisible string on the back and just the plain white thread on the front to make it look like as though it was flying.

Processing:
Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Clarity, Vibrance, Contrast, Blacks were all adjusted to try and isolate the subjects.

Also used Topaz DeNoise 5 for noise cancelling.

Yeah, I made sure it was the only thing visible. Unfortunately, I didn't know how much processing was allowed, so that is why you can still see on the underside of the wing near the back edge where the transparent fishing line was used. In order to hide it better I painted the fishing ling line with a black sharpie. worked great.

Thank you all for the comments and the votes. I have been trying to make sure that the challenges I do can in some way help me learn of this wonderful hobby. I havent been able to crack the top ten but as I learn more and more, I know I will someday :)

The title works so great with this. Awesome choice of cropping, too. My only desire is that it was a more plane-looking paper plane, does that make sense?

Giving this an eight, but I might revisit to elevate the score. The idea is fantastic.

Revisiting, there are two other entries I like better, so this will stay an eight.
