This was my only 10. And I only give 10s a couple of times a year. The Thumb is well deserved, congratulations!

his image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. The obliteration of the face.
2. Then the 'aha' moment when we see it.
3. Then the wonder why we didn't see it straight away.
4. The interesting space - where is she? Where are we?
5. The dust graffiti.
6. The pooling of the light.
7. The excellent tones.

Great stuff.

If she was looking out the window it would of impacted me more, but as is I don't get a strong feeling for this one, I want too but it's just not there.

But it might later, I might revisit this one.

Oh what a great find! Her face is framed perfectly, too. Excellent street shot!
