I hesitate to make comments since I am obviously not an expert, but here goes: according to the title, the eye is the main subject, yet the nose is more in focus. And a very nice nose it is! :) But, it was confusing. I didn't rate it low, but didn't rate it as high as others.

The title implies that the eye is the focal point here. However, since the depth of focus is shallow, and only the nose is in focus, it really is the nose that draws the attention.

better if it was in focus...

Photos should at least be in focus before you submit them

If the eye is supposed to be the main subject, it should be so blurry I think. Now it looks like "I smell you. :)))

Better focus would have been better score. good luck

eye is out of focus i am guessing by the title its the subject and not the nose

I think since the main thing you are trying to focus on here is the eye (at least that is what I get from your title) the eye should be in focus.

not a very attractive shot, not crazy about the ex[posure. I would rather see the eye in facus and the nose soft - but that just my preference.

Would have been better to me if the eye was in focus and not the nose. But just my personal tastes...

great idea. needed to get the focus on the eye instead of the nose.

too blurred

it's an interesting idea. Take a picture of an eye and focus on the nose.
At least you could adjust the title.
As much as it can make the picture beautifull, the shallow DOF can also spoil it easily and it's quite hard to master. Play with it some more (or give titles accordingly to what you got in focus)

focus would be better on the eye rather than the nostril

Going by the title of the shot it would seem you are directing attention to the eye and yet it is the nose that is in focus. You've also lost details in the blown highlights.
