| Congrats, one of my favorites. Seldom have I seen the use of mood so well done in the challenges. Despite the lighten up the foreground comments, I really liked it just how it was. |

| Very nice moody feel to this shot. The mood is enhanced nicely by the black and white, also. I'd perhaps light to see it just a tiny bit lighter, but that's difficult to say without actually seeing it and comparing them side by side. But I really like this - a creative shot in this challenge. (8) |

| I've debated whether this is an amazing picture or just plain good. My mind wants to say it is too dark, but that is perfect for this sign. The fog/death metaphor is terrific. |

| IMO this image is great in B & W. However as little as 1/2 a stop more would brighten the foreground just a little and make the sign pop just a little harder I think. This a great image for this challenge and a great find. |

| I like the fog which fits in with the sign very well. B&W works well here too. I would have prefered a tighter crop to cut out at least the black patch in the foreground. Nice work. |

| Man I can almost drown in the mist just looking at this foto. The accent of the foreground leaves melting into moody silhouettes just takes my breath away. I really like the damp feel of the pavement and the touch of delicate branches like spider web strands. The moment you chose for the foto was perfect. I like the grey looming fog instead of blazing white that is commonly seen. Continue with your outstanding vision. |

| at first i didn't like how dark this was...i know that's how it's meant to be...i like how the path disappears into the fog. if there was a little more light on the sign it would be better |

| Wow! The use of B&W is perfect for this shot! Reminds me of an old B&W horor movie! I love teh dark atmosphere of the whole shot. The sign blends in but youre still drawn towards it. The mist ads to the mistery. After careful consideration.... from an 8 to a 9! Good job!! |

| Wow that just looks so gloomy. Dead end says it right. I think you could have done a closer crop though, it would have brought more attention to the sign, but still have been able to maintain the effect. This shot may also have been kinda neat with desaturation, only keep the yellow of the sign, and maintain the rest as it is now. That too would have drawn a bit more attention. I likethe placement of the sign though in this pic, and your focus was great especially for conditions like this. Back to cropping I probably would have cropped a bit off the bottom too, get the horizon out of the middle of the picture and lose the unneeded leaves and pavement onthe bottom. Great shot though, it is just so freaky. 8. |

| That fog machine must have cost a fortune to create this shot... IE: I love the fog. It has a eerie quality that complements the "dead end" sign lovely. Black and white is also very effective with this photo. Well done. |

| This feels really forboding (did I spell that right?) to me... I like the photos that put the sign in context with the surroundings, and I think this one works rather well. I think the foreground is a bit too dark, but this is a well done image otherwise. I might have also made the dead end sign a bit more prominent, it doesnt stand out enough. 7 |

| whoa, freaky! could be right out of a hitchcock movie with all that foggy greyness! that having been said--i usually go for more contrasty B&W photos--but the monotone greys work for this picture. nice work! |
