 Waited for hours to get this shot and still had to wait for a return trip to get better light direction. Shot with 70-200 lens at max, need to get bigger lens for this

There is something quite strange going on with this image - the owl almost looks superimposed on the background. I suspectthat you have processed the owl and background separately and some of the mask has crept over the edge in places.

What a great capture! There's some odd yellow outline around the front and a few feathers of the wings...

To me birds always look best in flight from the top down but it's a view we rarely see. Great job on this.
