Very excited about this shot -- it reminds me of a Spanish dancer (maybe I should have entered it for Cinco de Mayo? :)

Taken down in Florida, while traveling with ja-9, her husband, and my son, jcar. We met up with [user]melon_musketeer[/user] and took a boat cruise of the 10,000 Islands. There was a wonderful rookery, and this was one of the egrets coming in for a landing. He got himself into some wonderful positions. I adored this one.

Fabulous study. Not as crisp as many may want or expect but doesn't always need to be. Other factors make up for that such as perfect Focal Length to get the wings and extremities in. Good look toward camera, flight toward camera and slightly open bill. 7.
