This challenge seemed like a good excuse for a homage to Edward Weston. Finding an asymmetrical pepper was harder than I thought. This is the best one I could find. I didn't have an aluminum funnel, so lit it above and to the rear with a reflector to the right.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

Lighting on this bell pepper is just fabulous putting the spotlight on all the curves and shape of this asymmetrical vegetable. The B&W was a great choice because the play of light and shadow in the warped shape and curves of the pepper really pop visually. Nicely captured.

Probably the most beautiful photograph of a vegetable I have ever seen.

Im not sure if this is more Weston or Cunningham, but it sure is good. The lighting is very strong with two quibbles. I know monitor to monitor will be different but I see no edge at the bottom right, and I miss it, and the pocket of fabric on the left foreground that is lit adds a distracting element. Those are quibbles in a beautiful image. The rim lighting on the left side of the pepper is just perfect.
