Beautifully high key- works so well with the tan and subtle blues.

Thanks for all the kind words and constructive feedback. Yes...definitely missed the horizon on this one. Posted this one on last day and did a very quick job processing and posting. Lesson learned...hopefully...

Oh no - this just too darn lovely to have a horizon line like that!! It's not just a little crooked, it's a LOT crooked. Even if that's the way it is in reality (which I don't think it is since the verticals in the reflection line up perfectly when I straighten the horizon), it throws the photo off - at least for this person. Would have been in my top three easily, but I can't. 9 or 10 is a generous 7. Everything else is stunning, but you missed that one critical detail.

Interesting place, I was out there a few months ago id day so the light was pretty flat and harsh but would love to go out there so day early for sunrise. I like the composition, nice sky, suffers a little from the flat lighting but I still like the image. 6

Amazing, I took a similar picture, just 2 weeks ago, but edited differently. The I was there there was an incredible reflection of the mountain and this stump. I made it black and white with high contrast. Excellent job!

I really love high key. Is the horizon slightly tilted to the right? Maybe it's me. ;)

I like the paintery feel to this, your composition and the reflection in the water along with the high key feel to this all work very well together. Feels like the horizon may be leaning to the right just a bit. Beautiful whispy clouds as well. Nice shot!
