Photographer’s Notes
I am burning out … league entries week after week.

But I’m committed to my team.

And still life is not my favorite genre. Maybe this unconventional take will resonate … spark appreciation for a creative approach … or pull the wool over voters’ eyes. I’m willing to chance it.

Every item here has been seen in another challenge entry, so this is personal. I am so grateful to DPC for helping me to development my talent, my eye, my kit, my POV. Thanks you.

Thank you!

Good Day from the critique club

I understand that you are not into still life shots as mentioned in your comments. However, I really think that you did a very nice job. The composition was nicely done. The choice of material (props) used was perfect for a black and white in my opinion. However I think I would have wanted the clock more centered in the frame. To me it is only slightly distracting.

The wood grain in this shot is awesome. I love the way it almost pops out at you. It gives depth, which is always a good thing.

I hope this critique has helped. Keep it up.
