Number 2 train station at 72nd Street. Not an easy shot to get always people coming in or out of train station.

Good shot...definatly nice in composition. I like your angle and maybe you could of used more color to give it that bold night look and feel.

A very interesting rendition but lacking that contrasting cold color night feel. Yet, pretty in own right. Bumping up.

I like this...love the movement of the people...

Great composition in a nice setting. But the motion blur seems accidental; I think either a faster shutter speed to freeze the motion or a slower one to make it deliberate would have been more effective. But it's a minor flaw; overall I really like this photo.

Shows good detail.

The building is pretty interesting... but i guess its hard to catch it without people. Also would have croped tighter...to bring focus on station itself.

Something in this shot is very appealing and has a nostalgic feel to it. I think it's either a back entrance or was taken very late at night (although the sky wouldn't make someone thinks so) since there are very few people in the scene... unusual for a New York City subway station. I like the motion blur of the long shutter, the light inside the station is well controlled to illuminate it. The yellow tint of the street lamp adds mood to the photo although I would have preferred the whole picture a little darker. The dark buildings in the background with the lit windows are wonderful addition. A few technical flaws: perspective correction of the buildings to straighten them up, some obvious halos around the darker buildings and color noise in the sky. These are minor and can easily be addressed by image editor. Overall, I like it. Marked as favorite. 8

a little too bright - a longer exposure with some ND would have blurred the people nicely

Beautiful lighting & color. I would have liked to have seen more of the buildings and less of the walkway in the front personally though :)

I like this shot...

Would you retake this when its snowing? =) I can only imagine what it would look like with snow introduced.
