I totally agree with Richard. There are wonderful things in this photograph. The more I look, the more I like it. A favorite.
I realize that I like it even more without the rocks. The bottom part is masterly although you did a fabulous job with the sky also. Bravo Alice.

Love the two figures - they complete splendidly a seascape that although beautiful is perhaps too often captured.
There is a painterly effect also done by an excellent use of color in processing (unless it was the real thing!)

(the waves on the right are so perfect! I am wondering if you shall not enlarge that corner, I mean the lower right quarter of the image …)

Looks menacing. I could use a bit more brightness. It would help combat the bit of halo around the fishermen.

Well, if you did combine several images, then you are to be congratulated for excellent ghost reduction. Exposure is great throughout. Spectacular composition. I think this should be the blue ribbon. 10
