that slide rule brought back memories, Paul.
I remember a high school math class where our (unpopular) teacher
passed out slide rules and proceeded to drone on and on about how to use them.
She lost me in the first paragraph, and all I could think of was that the thing was a pretty fair ruler but the 'inches' measurement was off.
