 I absolutely love his work. As I wandered through his portfolio I noticed I gave his entries 7 or higher almost all the time. To me, he captures serenity, warmth, and a quiet, light joy. He captures the richness of life. I can't even begin to approach what he does - this is a bit too "heavy" - but it was definitely an honor to shoot for this challenge.

Her stance as she runs reminds me of my niece. And she lives near one of the piers in California! :D I like this.

An exceptionally high contrast image which probably won't do well with the masses, but is a great image in my books. The choice for a toned B&W really makes the viewer focus more on the subject and not distractions like color -- makes one more engaged in the photo. I can almost feel the cold water under my feet!
