 Now if you are reading this, I probably know what you are thinking. You did what with your MarkII. But yes I did. I secured a tripod to the vehicle using bungee cords. It was very secure. I had a remote switch that went in through the back window and I was holding it in my right hand while I steered with my left. I just drove around a few small towns for awhile doing different places and angels and different lengths of exposure on the bulb setting. I never exceeded 20 mph. This one was shot at around 15-20 mph. I had no one else with me so I was very paranoid about the camera being out there, but I really have been wanting to try this kind of shot. I know it has been done before but it is a staple in the auto magazine world and I think it looks cool.Hopefully it won't get voted down too much for copying other shots in past challenges. I would just like to say that those weren't the first ones done and I have wanted to try this for years. Just never had the balls. Oh yea, i used the 12-24mm Sigma lens on the 12mm setting.

You are insane in my opinion. Just plain insane. I could never hang out my baby out on the outside of a car like that, sheesh, what if something happened? I could never forgive myself.

By the way, the shot is also insane, would have given it a 10 if I could have voted and no offense to Amason I think this should have won.

Yep, even though its been done before, i love the shot and love the addition of a person in the drivers seat. One of my highest rated photos for the challenge. Love your comments also. Its always good to read how the photographer did it and what they had to go through...congrats!

This is a very clever shot! Well done! I'd love to know how you braced the camera on the car!

This is quite a dynamic photo. I've seen others like it, but it's always neat to see someone take a new path with old material. I love that I can see in the car and the dashboard, and the green tinting to the street-lights is very.. unique. Especially with the blue. Great idea, nice execution.

very very nice. colours, lighting, angle, style - everything on this totally rocks. i love how the road and lights go straight to the vanishing point on the horizon. other little details such as the dash board totally adds depth to the shot. can't comment on this much because it's perfect as it is. 10.

Bumping up to 9, there is nothing that i don't like here, really, with the exception of the left hand on the steering wheel. I think either more of the driver should be in the picture or none at all. Otherwise, an immaculate shot. Very dynamic and well executed.
