Challenge: Halloween V (Expert Editing)

This was fun. Early on in the challenge I thought about doing something with dry ice. My main idea was having a spooky pumpkin with dry ice smoke coming from the face. I tried it, and never got anything worthy for the challenge.
Next I setup some candles and a glass. Dry ice bubbling out of the glass. This worked ok, and I have some fun images. But still, nothing I wanted for the challenge.
Then I messed around with a old deer skull, in the weeds, with dry ice. That worked like crap, so nope.
Finally, I went back to the glass, but got rid of the candles, and took photos from more interesting angles. With the help of different color ligt sources, the main light being an orange gelled flash from the left, I was able to get some shots that were insteresting.
As I looked through the results, this one, where the dry ice was floating, stood out. I used the eyes of my little girls as the color parts of the eyes. Overall, I felt like I got a great effect from this. One of my best expert editing attempts to date. |

| Well turn me around and slap me silly, I really thought those were REAL peoples eye balls.... IMHO wayyy under-appreciated! You can mix my drinks anytime! |
