Yup, I have done this style of image before. Did it last winter during a deep freeze, when there were more interesting patterns on the garage windows:


But, I feel like I have a lot of room to improve in this area, and really come out with spectacular images, so I'm going to keep trying :)

In this case, I used focus stacking to stack 7 images, and get as much in focus as I could. I had extension tubes in place, so my depth of field was tiny.

I also tried to go with more natural contrast and color, but bring the sharpness way up to give it a crisp feel of chill.

Kind of looks like an (abstract) Japanese temple, possibly on a hill.

Pretty ice crystals. I think I might have cropped the image to maximize the sharply focused areas.
