that surely will not last, predict low 5's soon enough, way too many shiny, glossy eye candy on here for this to do well!

9 votes 5.55!

[Dec. 18th, 2014 11:58:59 PM]

Ha funny how after 9 votes, my score is now the same, even though it rose to 5.77 a few days before rollover.

Thanks Don for the PH bling.

I didn't include a texture that was just me walking in front of the camera!!

Out take Don't think it would of done much better.

I much prefer the outtake. This one, although I marked it 7, left me unclear about my own reaction. And it's a bit wobbly itself - things are either curved or straight, my eyes are searching for something to grasp in a sea of maroonish sepia. This is of course my own reading as blunt as I could have put it but the image itself was among one of my highest marked in this challenge.
The outtake has extraordinary power and it's like a grave piece of music. You could have posted it in the "painting" challenge although I prefer to relate to its musicality.

Anita, DPC is getting to be very weird as the number of votes is getting to be at all time low. Soon the score will be totally meaningless, statistically insignificant, and completely not worth bothering about. The death of DPC is coming sooner than later, your image is the proof.

the texture of time elevates this photo into something more. I'm hanging this in my fantasy gallery

I like this a lot. Great layers, nice choice of colors, lovely smudging and interesting area at the bottom. One of my favorites.

I like the mood, the tones and the layers. The pentagon in the center seems too distracting for me. I think the curve on the bottom is great but maybe a little less texture to the right of it. My eye is drawn to the textures and to the dark corners first and then to the curves and land. Nice job.

I know there is depth here but you've made this scene flat. Love it! Didn't enter this challenge and wasn't going to vote but you've changed my mind. Thanks
