 this was surprisingly easy, i spent quite some time looking for a balloon because i wasn't convinced a real bubble gum bubble would work. i couldn't find any of the small balloons i wanted to use so my daughter convinced me that she could pull this off without fakery if i bought her real bubble gum. she nailed it on the second shot.

the eyes give away the lighting, just two alien bees with a PLM softbox on each, camera left half the power of the main the right.

processing was fairly simple, cleaned up some skin and did some dodge and burn to highlight the cheeks and the bubble.

I had two other crops of this:




I opted to take my daughters advice and go with the in your face vertical crop.

Considering your daughter accounts for now 3 of your top portfolio shots I think she deserves a lot of real bubble gum! My only complaint is that you didnt photoshop this enough :)

Yep! This is what I wanted to see. But... not enough of it on the sides. 9 from me... would be a 10 if it were wider.
