A somewhat appealing image that meets the challenge.
The artificial light has, I assume, come from the onboard flash of the camera? I like the shallow DOF, I like the dark background, I like the shapes and composition in general. What I am not keen on is the inevitable hotspots of overblown highlights that very often result from this type of shot using on-camera flash, it rarely gives the sort of results I am after but you have used it for the purpose of this challenge.
I like the detail of the fibres with the OOF elements against the dark background it makes the image a little more intriguing. Thanks for your submission, Sid |
