Amazingly dark sky and bright stars on 01/15/15 @ 7:00pm MST. This is the Milky Way above the Mummy Range, as seen from West Horseshoe Park. For the middle of January, it was mild temperature and light winds. Canon 5Dmk3, Bower 24mm f/1.4, f/2, 20s, ISO 2000, lens focal length 24mm. Meteor near the top middle. Airplane to the right of Ypsilon.

The light streak in the upper middle is a meteor. The flashing light to the right of Ypsilon Mountain is a plane. Both are major elements of interest. No need to clone out major elements. My philosophy is to present images without Photoshopping.

WOW! Absolutely stunning. Only distraction is the light in the bottom right above the mountains, but it's minor compared to the pure awesomeness in this image. 10 from me
