The colors and subtle blurring is lovely and well executed. The composition is great too!

For a reason unbeknownst to me, I'm thrown off by the differing shorelines on each side of the retaining wall...

Congrats on your ribbon!

Love the processing that brings out the warm tones. The composition is fantastic too - the nameless girl runs with carefree motion to the sea. She runs along the line that bridges land to water...and it is also the perfect leading line that draws my eye out to the horizon. The warm tones, moody sky, running with carefree abandon perhaps reach the seagulls at the end of the beam/bridge gives me a sense of this captured frame representing a moment of a pleasant memory being recalled. Congrats on the Red ribbon!

I really love this outtake much more than the other one. Great dynamic composition and beautiful warm tones. The out of focus flock of gulls and seemingly out of place pole/cross add some visual interest and mystery. Congratulations on the ribbon!!!

I have seen this before. It was an outtake to the “in the style of odriew” challenge. I remember clearly that I was impressed by it and I wrote:
What a story! The composition is threatening and the candy like processing makes it otherworldly
The cartoonish figure is charming and has exactly that ounce of danger needed for alertness.

I like the colors a lot... and the leading line. I'm thinking that the glow might be a little much, but I really enjoy the edginess.

I love the processing of this image. A key component to the emotion of this image. The composition is wonderful. The whole image makes me want to know more about what is going on in the moments either side of this one instance. Beautiful.
