very beautiful color, I never thought that one of my favorite shots would be of a library!

Cool, great to see things from a mouses viewpoint. The highlights from the lights donĀ“t help however, might have worked better if you had cropped them out.

I love the colours - the POV and the slight disorder of the chair and 1 book in the otherwise perfectly ordered library. It lacks only one thing (which may show in the original hi-res pic) and that is the exact point of focus. The logical point would be the chair but it seems slightly fuzzy. I found my eyes going up and down the image looking for the precise point.

Very nice image! Good exposure and lighting.

Nice perspective. Pity the books don't reach the roof ;) 6.

interesting

I like your choice of perspective on this and also like that it's not perfectly symmetrical.

i would like a figure in the photo to add that human interest

Nice composition and point of view. It's a shame that the lights are so harsh.
10/22/2004 11:32:50 PM
the lights at the top of the bookcases are pretty harsh, maybe you could have shot from a higher point of view so they were not shining so directly into your camera; the woodwork in the background is an attractive part of the image

Good image. Good viewpoint and subject. 9

Really cool vantage point on this one -- well done! My only nitpick is that I'm not sure whether the chair adds to the shot. This is one of my favorites this time around.

Very nice

Nice perspective

I can't decide whether that chair is distracting or adds interest. Nice shot though, you would never know how high the ceiling is without your terrific angle.
10/21/2004 02:07:29 PM
I think i see the grand size of the shot you were looking for with this POV. I think the lights are what killed this shot. But there probably asn't much you could do about them.
10/21/2004 01:05:32 AM
Now that's cool. Not sure but I thing the lights ruin it. Did you consider shooting in low lights to take the glare off the books?
10/20/2004 04:28:18 PM
Love the angle you've chosen here.
10/20/2004 01:54:47 PM
Interesting angle... colors are not bad at all but wonder if it would look better without.
10/20/2004 12:51:32 PM
I just love libraries! Great choice of angle. The symmetry is pleasing. Almost wish the chair was a little more asymmetrical in the composition. The brightness of the lighs does detract somewhat.
10/20/2004 12:47:28 PM
Good idea but I think the blurry lights take away from it a bit.

I really like the feeling of height this image has.
