Hubby and I came back from a cruise (got a GREAT deal... and couldn't resist...)

It was snow flurrying and threatening icy roads when we left... snowed and iced and stuff all around us while we were gone.

When we returned, (we'd left 84 degrees that morning... tough to come home to COLD) there was a toad floating in our pool. I was so troubled by his lifeless body floating in the pool. (You know I love them. *sigh*) WHAT was he doing out in the middle of Winter? They only show up in the Spring here in LydiaVille.

I sighed. I went to bed. I got up this morning, went to get him out and... he moved on the skimmer tool! WHAT?!?!

How could he live in water that cold? There's no telling when he got in there... and Hubby and I had been gone for five days!

I took him inside to warm him and... look to see what challenges were up now (been gone, you know...).

Games. That's it. I could get him to model for me for Games before he warmed up and got frisky.

Turns out, my darling daughter called me to talk on her hour and a half drive home. I set up (one-handed) and found some props in my prop drawer that I didn't remember buying. Toad-sized cards! I knew I had the dice... I've shot them for challenges before, but the money and cards were a pleasant surprise. Ha!

Anyway, here he is... a recreation of what we did on our cruise. *grin* I came out $147 ahead, in case you're wondering. I'd never played roulette before. *score*

Anyway, he's a handsome fellow, huh?

Now what to do with him? I can't keep him inside... and I feel bad about putting back outside. *sigh*

Are there even any bugs out there this time of year?

Go back to sleep Mr. Toad. And stay out of the pool.

Not being a dice player, I am missing the point of the toad/frog. He's a cutie but somewhat of a discordant charm amongst the other objects. Interesting collage.
