This is a very strong photo but it needs badly to be flipped 180 degrees to let it communicate eye to eye with the viewer.

Man, I love this. I'm not sure if the more shallow DoF is an homage to jjbeguin or not, but since I haven't been here long enough to get a feel for the style I'm just going on the photos and that's the only thing that bugs me - and even then it's just the nose, not the finger. Powerful shot nonetheless. 9

I had to look at the portrait turned 180 degrees! What an extraordinary thing this upside down choice, in context also. The fingers trying to grasp the despondency of the situation, the stare, the solitude...
It's a shattering image that I wish of being staged and not reflecting reality.
