Arranged by nature. Who can improve on that?

Seems like the story is a little too complete on this one. The shadow is wonderful, but it doesn't leave me wondering. It seems like I already know it all.

the shadow pattern is delightful as well as the texture in the roses, im unsure as to the pristine white ribbon though seems out of place. great dual light and lovely textured concrete adding to a magnificent image

A lot of broken things to see here, the concrete, the ribbon, the roses, the fence. Nice story telling.

The shade-cross nicely strengthen the feeling of pain

Perhaps the ribbon is too white, but let's interpret it as being the starting point, when all was still clean and beautiful.

those are dried flowers. this photo was carefully arranged. it does okay on that level. the composition is competent, even elegant.

Cliché...but beautifully twisted into lovely processing and design.

Sad. But dead flowers have such awesome texture - even moreso than live ones.

Precisely composed, I really enjoy the shadow. I'm a fan of glow, whether lens of software induced, but here (perhaps because of the ribbon) it jars a little rather than soothes.

Fabulous light.

The texture, the shadows and the beautiful tones all appeal to me very much. The withered flowers (roses?) are bordering on saccharine, but justified and thus saved on the right side of that border. But the ribbon is maybe a bridge too far. On the other hand, better a bridge too far than one too few, and anyway that's the whole point of the picture. It's not really a photograph that I'd rave about from a conceptual point of view, but it's beautifully executed; even a hack like me can see that. Thank you.
