No votes below 5! Absolutely great image. Too bad about the DQ, but it had nothing to do with the quality of the image.

Thanks all for your votes and comments.
My first submission with the 7D MkII.
I originally submitted this image without any added noise, but continued to play around with it and felt that this version with added noise had more of an industrial feel to it. Without the noise, the image felt a bit too "clean" to me. Maybe on reflection it was an erroneous decision, but these are the small changes and differences of opinion that make this hobby so interesting and challenging.
gyaban - congratulations on yet another blue and thanks for taking the time to comment on mine. BTW, I finnished the whole bag of nuts in one sitting - once you start on them, there's no stopping.

DQ - I set the camera date to 2014 instead of 2015 - lesson learned!

Yay for nutcrackers! You made me hungry, I really need to find one of those giant peanuts. Anyway, great work, I personally don't mind the grain at all, it quite adds to the mood. Congrats on the nice finish.

Cute idea...would have bumped it up one more point but for the noise.

Very clever idea. I like it a lot! I wish there was less noise in the image but overall I like it.

This is awesome. Not only a great concept, but nicely composed, lit, shot. I love the tiny wheelbarrow.

Great concept and nicely done. For me, I think the red wheelbarrow makes the picture - at least I think it would have a lot less impact without it.
