The NYC Park website gives details about the monuments in Bryant Park:
On the Fountain Terrace
At the western gateway to the park is the pink granite Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain, dedicated in 1912. This was the city’s first public memorial dedicated to a woman. Lowell (1843-1905) was a social worker and founder of the Charity Organization Society. Charles Adams Platt designed the fountain.

Lots of good stuff going on here. (The guy in the overalls looks like Mykelti Williamson playing Ellstin Limehouse in the TV series Justified.)

Really well-timed moment with an interesting story. I think I might eliminate, or at least dial way down, the highlight corner vignette. Still an excellent entry.

Surprisingly diverse activities found in a deceptively familiar location.

I love the conversion to BW on this. I didn't score it very high though (4). For me, I think there may have been better 'moments' than the one you selected. There's alot of interesting things going on in the frame...starts with the little girl, but more importantly the workers and the one in the fountain. I'd have loved to see how that played out. :o) Good Luck!
