 So, Chicago is hosting the NFL draft for the first time this weekend -- it's the only "headline" event I could think of to try to shoot for. I never paid much attention to the draft process, but the preparations have been extensive. They have erected an entire "Draft Town" with large structures and lots up exhibits for the public to visit.

In the middle of a small mall along Michigan Avenue they have set out rows of giant helmets, and people were taking pictures by their favorite teams. I got other shots of lines of tents and cranes putting up steel frames, etc. that might have done a better job illustrating the city's preparation. But, this was the image I liked best. When picking between two shots -- one that better suits the challenge theme versus one that has a weaker connection but is a stronger image -- I'll generally pick the stronger image.

I can imagine this in the newspaper... not the tint... it's excluded from the challenge details (black, white, and shades of gray), but It's adorable and I gave it a 7.
