I think this is a great photo, but I would change the following if I could: I would eliminate the foreground lighting and/or flash, and instead just take a tripod long exposure to capture the foreground... I think this would result in more even lighting/color from foreground to background. Regardless, a cool photo.

I may be wrong but this looks like a slwo sync shot? The foreground is a bit stark and washed out by the flash for my taste. I realise you were probably trying to get a balance between that and the background. Of course I could be totally wrong here. Anyway the effect is still there. The sunset is fabulous. Well spotted, I gave it a six.

The sky in the background is unbelivable, great picture

Creative use of flash. Good composition. The nets really add drama to this beautiful shot. I think that the right half of the shot is much better because of the harmony between the net and the sky but it wouldn't fit the challenge as strongly as the whole lot.

Very interesting... sunset through nets. Not sure you had to use flash here... i think i would like dark siluettes more.

too much light intensity on the left foreground for my taste : it gives too much of a cold light which fights against the warm colors of the sky - great mood on the horizon

Very interesting. I like the mystery of it. Who lived there? How long ago. What is the climate like. Warm? Colors good, night flash good, framing good. The only imperfect thing is the weed to the left, imo. I would have bent it out of the way. I like the savage/civilized implication.

I love the colors but i could live without the poles, rope and weeds standing out so much in the foreground.

The sky is incredibly beautiful. But the flash-lit (I think) structure and surrounding ground on the left side of the pic is very distracting because the lighting there is so harsh, flat, and cold compared to the warm, smooth, even lighting of the water and the sunset.
